The Community/Neighborhood Foundation "Our Neighborhood Partnership"
The Foundation is securing its 501(c) 3 non-profit status, and will receive $25,000 during the initial project start-up phase, an amount committed by SNGS, in addition to receiving 0.25 percent (.25%) of annual gross revenues when full operation of the SNGS facility is achieved. This could yield approximately $25,000 to $44,000 or more per year.
Our Neighborhood Partnership will explore ways to invest $44,000 or more per year into your community, and welcome your ideas to help improve the quality of life for you and your neighbors.
IDEAS FOR INVESTING IN YOUR COMMUNITY
- Sponsoring sports leagues for youth
- Traffic calming measures
- Scholarships for neighborhood high school students
- Park improvements
- Neighborhood security measures
SNGS has already disbursed more than $17,000 to several community organizations, and local groups and events including $2,500 to the Inter Soccer Club, a non-profit organization providing an alternative for families that cannot afford $150 per child per month to play soccer at the highest competitive level.
